AHMEDABAD: A new strain of corona has appeared in Gujarat, this new strain has been seen in 4 people in the UK.
All patients are currently admitted to SVP and treatment has been started according to SOP. On this issue,
Health Secretary Drs. Jayanthi Ravi said that new strains have been scanned from the UK at the airport, out of which 4 people have been sent for treatment at SVP, while 15 samples are still pending. Our team is examining them every day, and this has been discussed in the Chief Minister's core committee.
4 people tested Corona positive
The transition to this new strain of Kovid spreads rapidly. Test samples from UK people were sent to a lab in Pune, in which 4 people tested positive.
There are still 15 sample reports yet to come. All passengers on flights originating from the UK are currently under inspection. This facility has been made available in the SVP Hospital as part of the preparation for the treatment of the patients.
